Formal dinner and College Squash

Well, I did 2 stupid things yesterday.

1. I went for a 9 o'clock lecture that I didnt have.

• And I actually entered a lecture theatre.
• And I failed to leave inconspicuously and got caught by the professor and had to tell the whole world that I went for the wrong lecture
• Well, at least now i know how to read my time table....

2. I fell down the stairs.

• And were seen by the pastor and his good friend. sigh

So it wasnt really my morning yesterday.

But overall, the day was good and I had a much needed 3 hour nap in the afternoon

Formal Dinner

A dinner where everyone dresses up and we wear our college gowns and are served by waiters for a simple 3 course mail.

It was great fun and the food was terrific. I got pennied once though, so I had to down my whole glass of red wine. But it wasnt too bad as it was the only glass I drank the whole night, and I had so much fun watching others get pennied.

Nothing much else to be said, except that I'd go again, if i feel rich enough.

*pennying refers to having to gulp down your glass of wine when someone drops a penny into your glass

College Squash

A party held in the college bar, with loud music which didnt sound that bad, and held usually thrice a term.

The theme for last night was back to school so I borrowed a tie from my friendly neighbour and just wore a collared top and skirt.

Again, it was enjoyable and the smoking didnt get too bad till the end. argh. Why cant people just not smoke. I didnt dance that much, but it was great fun just people-watching. Interesting.

Team America

After the squash, we went to Teddy's room to watch Team America and his stereo system is so cool. By the way, the director of this movie has an ultra sick sense of humour.

Anyway.....so it was a great day yesterday.
