Judo Stayover
Had a stayover at Yanling's house over the weekend.
It was enjoyable and fun as always.
Again, words fail me, as I, an engineer-to-be, am unable to convey exactly how happy I was in the past less-than-24-hours, largely due to the company of so many hot babes, who went through heaven (no training) and hell (training camp) with me and thankfully did not cause me to sustain any long term injuries.
Though I must remember not to allow Pam to execute her fireman's-lift-like throw on me as I value my brain cells very much, and Hau Wan's uchimata is still as painful as always. But of course, my beloved partner will never try to kill me. Then there were the front crawls (aw...), on the NEW mats (Aw....), of four sets (AW.....). What else......the shadow ukemi practises, with fellow Freda and Pam suffering with me for low-should-throw leaving our knee-caps with artistic patches all over. Ok, I'm sure practising for tai-otoshi and osoto-gari(?) is as tiring too. heh.
Really, the stayover brought back quite a number of memories, though I suspect all of you are zonked out now on your beds, sound asleep. I think it's just on of the phase I'm going through about leaving, so those of you who are past it should know. =)
I never really felt sad, or understood why it's sad sending people off, as I have every confidence to see everyone sooner or later, not never. Yet, lying on the sofa just now, probably due to the effect of being still awake at 630am in the morning after playing ninja turtle and bridge, I suddenly felt very sad. No more outings like this whenever we want it. But of course, let's have one in December. And Jia Wei, Come Back in dec.
As usual, I am the last to leave out of the whole group and thus, I am going to send everyone off. Maybe I will cry, or at least make the person going off cry. =)
Ok, enough rantings from a person who is barely awake and emotionally as stable as a piece of log placed vertically on any horizontal plane. Wait...that reminds me.....I hope when I come back, everyone will still understand me. I don't want to be a boring engineer, speaking lexicons so much that no one else can understand me. PS. This applies to all the rest of the professions too as I am sure that everyone has their jargons. So we are all going to come back and still not have any communication barrier.
Love you all lots, and those who can, send me off. =)
It's amazing how so many of us, from so many different places, gathering together at times rarely other than training, can have so much fun together.

* PS. All those who want the clip that we took over pizza, which is guaranteed to make anyone who watch it cry, especially if you are not-so-close to home, please ask me to send to you via msn. Limited to fellow judokas only.
