wa...exam time not even as busy as now....but haha....it's great fun

13th June - Party in my room

Invited random people over, but I have to admit, all the food and drinks there weren't provided by me. heh. As usual, I provide only the venue. Most people stayed till 4 plus am. We didn't do anything crazy though, did'nt even drink, well, except for daniel who drank most of the bottle of mixed martini (kindly provided by Gladys).


14th June - Imperial War Museum at Duxford

So fun! I volunteered to help out at techlink, an event where many primary school kids come and we teach them how to build things. My station is the station for hovercrafts. They are so noisy! But ok, very fun. We visited the museum after that. The test plane for Concorde was on display and we went in to take a look. "Blackbird" was also on display, which I think is the first American spy plane or something like that. It was great because Gordon and Imran know quite a lot about planes and they will tell me why certain parts are built like that and what is so special about the planes.

DOS party was after that.

Was mad enough to go to Edwin's room to watch XMen 2 after the party. I feel asleep after Professor X was caught, so now I still can't watch Xmen 3 as I haven't watched XMen 2. sigh. Aud and I feel asleep in his room, which was another bad idea, cos we just didn't have a good sleep.


15th June - Random Events

Went for an interview for the Corpus Christi Mayball Committee. I applied to be in-charge of security and employment but they gave me the post of website officer instead. Haiz, shouldn't have told them I can make websites.

Then packed my room for an hour or two before going to Chris' birthday party! haha...Michelle and Chris sure go well together. They are such good hosts! And Michelle's cooking skills have improved to another level! She even made an ice cream cake!


16th June - Punting and Robinson Mayball

Went punting with Aud and her family. The sun was so strong, I got tanner. Yay. And this trip again confirmed my belief that I cannot punt straight. But oh well, I got the punt moving. My first exercise in months, so it was quite tiring. And I'm determined to exercise more.

Then went to work in Robinson Mayball. The contract is hlaf on half off, meaning iI got to attend the first half of the ball. So Rachel, Voon, David and I went around to play the bungee run, bumper car and swing, which were the only 3 carnival-like acitivities they had there. It was great fun. But since we were working on the second shift, we couldn;t drink any alcohol and we didn't get to dance as the nice music only came on later at night. So that was a pity and I might just pay 100 pounds to properly attend a mayball next year. Oh ya, we had to dress up for the first half and couldn't go around in our working clothes. Can you imagine me doing the bungee run in my dress?! sigh.....why couldn't I have gone in a tuxedo.


17th June - CUMSA Garden Party

Managed to catch 2 hours of sleep before having to prepare for the garden party, which went by in a daze. It was a success though, and I finally get to drink a bit. =P My favourite now: Pimms. And the sun was so strong too. I think I'm properly tanned now, which is good!

Came back and slept for 14 hours straight! 9 pm to 11 am this morning. I'm amazed with my own sleeping prowess.

18th June - CUMAS Garden Party

Going off to their garden party after this. Heard that they are catering proper Malaysan food! Hope it's good!
